The brochure welcomes aliens from the Andromeda galaxy to visit the Milky Way galaxy and its solar system. It provides descriptions of the sun and 9 planets in the solar system, including the terrestrial planets Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars, and gas planets Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. It also describes the asteroid belt and Kuiper belt that orbit the sun beyond the planets. 2. Welcome to Our Galaxy
Hello aliens from our next door neighbor, Andromeda. We welcome you to our galaxy, the milky
way. This galaxy is the place that is in your dreams. We’ve also got a tour on our human place . We
call it the solar system. We hope that you are interested in this brochure so you can visit us. You
can visit us any time. We humans are waiting for the day you will look at this brochure and say
let’s go to this place. Have a nice tour!

3. Solar System
The solar system. It is a ring of orbits with space objects that
you will learn about. It is a great place to have fun. There are
two belts that are made with asteroids. There are planets. There
are many,many,many moons. There are rings. It has nine
planets. There are gas planets and terrestrial planets. The are
still a lot more to learn for us humans that we don’t know.

4. Sun
The sun. It was a huge ball of 6ire pulling in gas to be born .It is
actually a star that was born 5 billion years ago. Advice:Don’t land
on it! You will burn and sink and be never be seen again. The
yellow star provides heat and light to help us live. It rules the
solar system. It rules for it’s size. It is 15,000,000 degrees. The
sun’s surface is 5,500 The sun is in the center of the solar system.
There are many things around it. You cannot live there, but you
can celebrate the sun’s birthday! See you at the party!

5. Terrestrial Planets
The terrestrial planets. There are four. They are Mercury,Venus,
Earth and Mars. The four are closest to the sun. There is
something special about them. You will 6ind out. Fast Fact: You
can only land on these planets because they are land. You will 6ind
how special they are to the solar system. We are proud of it.

6. Mercury
Mercury. The first planet that is close to the sun. It is the
second smallest planet in the solar system. It has no moon. By
our opinion it is very uninviting,but maybe not to you.
Mercury is hot on the side facing the sun and the other side
that is dark is cold. Mercury is famous for it’s craters also. The
crater’s are made by collisions with space objects. It is a jumpy
planet. If you land there, you will have a jumpy day!

7. Venus
Venus. It is the second planet from the sun. It also has no moons.
The surface is always hot .It is so hot that is melts lead. It is
one hot place in the solar system. It is a mixture of cloudy air
and lava .The atmosphere makes it hard to see the surface. So
do not travel there. Although us humans can take pictures of
the clouds. We learned that it is a volcano planet, so you will
be erupted if you get too close. We warn you again:DO NOT
GO THERE

8. Earth
Earth. The third planet of from the sun. It is the most beautiful
place in the solar system. It has an atmosphere of nitrogen and
oxygen. It is the only planet in the solar system that has water. It
is also the only planet that has life for animals and humans. Earth
has a satellite, or moon, named Luna .The moon is the only place
we visited. But you can visit all the places we didn’t travel to. Send
us postcards that tell us how it is like living on those planets!

9. Mars
Mars. The fourth planet from the sun. Mars has two moons,
Phobos and Deimos . It is like earth but has no water. It has water
that is frozen in it’s ice caps. It is also colder,drier, and smaller.
Mars is called the Red Planet because of it’s red soil and dust. The
air is carbon dioxide so we cannot breath. Perhaps you can.
Maybe you could even learn something that we didn’t learn!

10. Asteroid Belt
The Asteroid Belt. It is a rocky belt of asteroids and meteoroids.
It is a ring around the sun, separating the inner planets from
the outer planets. In 2010, the NASA scientists announced that
they found the biggest asteroid in the belt. They named it Ceres .
A few years later they found it had a very tiny moon. NASA named
it Dactyl . You have to be careful, though. There are meteor
showers. Maybe you can surf there. Send us pictures!

11. Gas Planets
The Gas Planets. They are Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune.
They each have a special character . You will 6ind out. The four
are faraway from the sun. Fast Fact: They are made out of gas so
you can not land on them. WARNING: DO NOT GO THERE

12. Jupiter
Jupiter. The 6ifth planet from the sun .The biggest planet in the
whole Solar System. It has a lot of moons. We named four. Io,
Ganymede, Europa, and Callisto . It has a ring of dust. You can not
see it because the ring is so thin that we think it’s invisible.
Jupiter has poisonous air and clouds. It is known for the Great
Red Spot. It has storms raging out all week,month,year, or, it could
do it forever. We can not even make close contact there because of
it’s gas. Maybe you can. You can get close and catch the poisonous
air into the vial. You’ll be famous!

13. Saturn
Saturn. The sixth planet from the sun . The second biggest
planet in the solar system . The planet that has the most moons
than any planet that travels around our sun. We named four
too. Prometheus, Pandora,Atlas and Pan. Saturn is made of
gas. That is why we can not land there . Saturn is known for
it’s beautiful rings. They are made from rock,dust, and ice.
Saturn has thirty nine rings. It has the most rings than any
planet in our solar system . We wish to ride it’s rings, but we
are to sensitive. You can. Tell us how it is to ride saturn’s rings!

14. Uranus
Uranus. The seventh planet from the sun. It has over ten moons.
We named 6ifteen. They are Cordelia, Ophelia, Bianca, Cressida,
Desdemona, Juliet, Portia, Rosalind, Belinda, Puck, Miranda, Ariel,
Umbriel, Titania, and Oberon. It is also made of gas. It is a
mixture of air and gas. It also has a thin ring made of ice. We want
to travel to the surface, but we can’t. You can send us pictures,
though. Have fun!

15. Neptune
Neptune. The eighth planet from the sun . It has thirteen known
moons. They are Naiad, Thalasa, Despina, Galatea, Larisaa,
Proteus, Triton, Nereid, Halimede, Sao, Laomedeia, Psamathe, and
Neso. It is a mixture of gas and blue air. It is known for it’s Great
Dark Spot. It disappeared years ago. It was a spot of raging
storms. It remains a mystery of space. Perhaps you can 6igure it
out. We might have an interview of you telling us how it
disappeared!

16. Kuiper Belt
The Kuiper Belt. The belt that is an orbit around the sun. It is
after Neptune’s orbit. You can say it is like the asteroid belt, but
the kuiper belt is twenty‐thousand times bigger than that. The
belt is made out of icy objects that make you cold and all shivery.
Other objects in the belt are fairly large. In 2005 NASA announced
that they have found a planet like object in the Kuiper Belt. They
named it Eris. Eris had a moon named Dysnomia. Even if the
planet and the moon are cold, it is a great place to be at
summertime. Hope you are warm!

17. Pluto
Pluto. The ninth planet from the sun. The smallest planet in the
solar system. Which is why it is called a dwarf planet. It has a
moon, Charon. Charon is about half the size of Pluto. People
consider it, not a planet, but an object from the Kuiper Belt. Pluto
has a very thin atmosphere. It so cold on Pluto, that the sky
freezes and falls down to pluto’s surface when it is at a point at
it’s orbit farthest from the sun. Tip: Pluto is a great place to have a
christmas vacation!

18. Comets
Comets. The big chunks of ice,rock, dust, and gas what we call
dirty snowballs. They orbit around the sun in a long oval.
Scientists believe they have valuable information more about
space. It can take hundreds of millions of years for a comet to
circle the sun. A comet’s tail show up when it gets close to sun
and gets warm in it’s orbit. The gases and dust from the comet’s
tail always points away from the sun. They can be very hazardous
to you, so watch out for them!

19. Few Words

galaxy is beautiful, full of pretty stars and colors. Your galaxy is
beautiful too. That is why one day, we will visit YOUR galaxy and
